Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Voxa ("the app", "we") handles. In short: your voice, songs and recordings are processed on your device and are never uploaded by us. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, Unity Ads and Google Play Billing, which process limited technical data as described below.
Microphone
Voxa uses the microphone only while you turn the mic on, sing karaoke or run the Wi-Fi Mic. The sound is processed in real time on your device and played on the speaker you choose. While the mic is live, Android shows a notification so you can turn it off at any time, also with the screen locked. Voxa does not record anything unless you tap Record (or keep "Record performance" on in Karaoke); recordings are stored only in the app's private storage.
Songs and recordings
When you pick a song for karaoke, Android gives Voxa access to that one file. It is decoded on your device to play under your voice; the song is not copied or uploaded. Recordings ("Takes") stay in the app's private storage until you delete them, share them or save them to your Music folder.
Wi-Fi Mic
When you start the Wi-Fi Mic, Voxa runs a small web server on your phone that is reachable only on your local network (your Wi-Fi or your phone's hotspot). Devices that open the shown address can hear your microphone while it is on. The audio goes directly from your phone to those devices; it never passes through our servers. The server stops when you stop the Wi-Fi Mic or close the app.
Bluetooth and audio devices
Voxa lists the audio outputs and microphones Android reports (for example the name of a connected Bluetooth speaker) only to let you choose where sound goes. Device names are not sent anywhere.
